Chocolate and sesame cake

I read a tweet from a guy on twitter last week, berating bloggers for adding their "story" to recipe posts, complaining that he had no interest in what was going on in their lives, he just wanted a recipe for his dinner.

Have to say, I disagree.  I think blogs, and recipe books for that matter, that are no more than a set of ingredients and instructions lack the power to inspire, to encourage, to tempt.
What do you think?  Do you want an introduction, a bit of background, some news from Netherton HQ? Or would you rather forgo the intro and just get the recipe?

In this case, I win. You get a few words and you also get a recipe.
A light, moist cake for teatime.

Here goes with the instructions.

120g butter
120g sugar
60g tahini
120g greek yogurt
20g black sesame seeds
75g rich milk chocolate
2 eggs
120g self raising flour

Pre-heat the oven to 165ÂșC and grease a 1lb loaf tin

A food processor is ideal for this, otherwise, work up a sweat with some serious wooden spoon action
Crea mthe butter and sugar until pale in colour.  Beat in the tahini and yogurt, making sure the tahini is thoroughly mixed into the butter mixture.  It is notoriously claggy and yu don't want lumps of it in the batter.
Add the eggs and mix very well.  A little curdling won't matter.
Chop the chocolate and stir into the mix along with the sesame seeds.
Finally add the flour and mix just enough to incorporate into the mix.

Spoon the mixture into the loaf tin and bake in the oven for 40 - 45 minutes.

Leave to cool in the tin for 10 minutes and then turn out on to a cooling rack.
